We hope you are doing well. We are already on summer break here. Our children had their last day of school last Friday, May 21st. It is amazing how quickly the school year passed. We are very proud of how well our children did and the growth we saw in their lives.

It is always exciting to see how God uses us to accomplish His purposes. We want to share a little about how God has used us in the lives of three people, and the future God has for them.

You might remember a couple of years ago we shared how Dave helped Robert who was beginning a ministry in Boise, Idaho. Since then the ministry has expanded into many local schools with a number of volunteers and interns helping to reach students for Christ. Robert very quickly became an important part of our Student Venture family. God has used him to reach and disciple many young people in the Northwest.

We have also shared about the different ministry intensives trips that Lynn has helped lead these past couple of years. Oscar, who currently serves in Phoenix, Arizona had originally started working with Student Venture while living in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He received some of his training at these intensives. Lynn was also able to impact Oscar’s wife, by helping ensure that she completed her training while balancing ministry with motherhood.

            Over the years, Dave has helped train hundreds of different people in youth ministry. One such person was Steve. He was quite involved in the ministry before he was called away by his service in the military. Even then he stayed involved in the Great Commission and Dave continues to provide him with resources to help him reach out.

As we fast forward to the present, God is bringing all these men together in the Northeast to begin a new ministry in the Boston area.  Robert will be attending seminary and working with Student Venture, Oscar and his family will be moving there in the fall to serve full time with Student Venture and Steve is already there working in the area.  It will be exciting to see what God has in store with these three guys. We thank God for the small part we have played in their training and development.
