(See You at the Pole)
September 18, 2002

On Wednesday morning, September 18, 2000, students from all across the nation will be gathering at their flagpoles to ask God to move on behalf of their classmates and schools. The wave will begin. God will begin to move in response to His children's prayers. Christian students will be excited about the stand they took for Christ that morning. Other students will be curious about all the people at the flagpole before school.

Let's ride that wave and see what God will do in response to our faith! This short survey can be used by students during their lunch break to open up opportunities to share Christ with their friends. Here's how it works:

  • Christian students join at the flagpole for See You at the Pole to seek God's movement on their campus.
  • Those same students then take a step of faith by doing this prayer survey with fellow students during lunch. Students should give the survey in an interview style rather than handing it out randomly. This will give them the opportunity to interact with the person being interviewed and possibly lead into the gospel.
  • Students can use the "Would You Like to Know God Personally?" booklet or the "Four Spiritual Laws" booklet to explain how to have a personal relationship with God. You can order them from New Life Publications.

The Wave will be sweeping across our nation. Be sure to catch it!

The See You At The Pole Questionnaires: Is God listening?

  1. Have you heard about what happened at the flagpole this morning? If yes, please explain.

  2. In your opinion, does prayer make any difference in the world today?

  3. According to a national survey, 90% of Americans feel that prayer is important to them. Do you think prayer makes a difference in your life? Why or why not?

  4. The Bible talks about a personal God who both hears and is able to answer your prayers. Would you be interested in hearing more about a personal relationship with God?
